I was on a cruise ship, and on our second night out I was getting ready for dinner when I slipped in the shower and hit my head on the marble floor, hitting the bone on the edge of my eye. When I woke up the next morning it had swollen a lot, and the doctor on the ship told me to be sure to follow up with an eye doctor when I got back. My retina had detached, so my doctor immediately referred me to Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates. I got right in to see Dr. Antoszyk, who did an assessment and scheduled surgery to reattach my retina right away.
I’m so pleased with Dr. Antoszyk. He has a great attitude and great skills. I was blind in that eye, but I’m back to seeing like I did before and I’m real thankful for that. It could have been a totally unpleasant experience but he fixed me right up.
