Our winter 2025 Ophthalmic Apprenticeship program is starting January 28! This paid apprenticeship is for people who are interested in becoming Ophthalmic Assistants.
Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates, P.A. (CEENTA) is an award-winning eye and ENT practice devoted to providing exceptional care across North and South Carolina. During this paid 14-week course, apprentices spend time in both classroom and clinical environments, completing rotations in the following eye care subspecialties:
As an apprentice, you will also receive access to our full range of benefits, including medical and dental insurance, 401(k) plans, paid time off, and employee discounts on CEENTA services.
The apprenticeship prepares technicians and assistants for the Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Exam.
After your 14-week apprentice training is complete, you'll be offered a position as an Ophthalmic Assistant with a two-year commitment to CEENTA.
