Dr. Chao Li is an ophthalmologist who specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataracts in Pineville, NC. His practice features a wide spectrum of eye conditions and treatments, including routine eye exams, traditional and laser-assisted cataract surgery, refractive eye surgery, diabetic eye care, and glaucoma.

He received his undergraduate degree in cellular and molecular biology as well as his medical degree from Tulane University. After completing his internship at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Dr. Li completed his residency in ophthalmology at Krieger Eye Institute in Baltimore. In addition, he has conducted thorough research on corneal crosslinking, radiation necrosis and vision loss, and innovations in IOP technology.
Outside of the office, Dr. Li enjoys disc golf, automobiles, trying out new restaurants, cooking, and physical fitness.
