Biography

Dr. Anya Trumler-Sebring is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist who provides children’s eye care services in Iredell County. Her area of expertise includes the diagnosis, treatment and management of all children’s eye problems. She provides medical and surgical eye care for children with eye movement and eye alignment disorders, assessing glasses needs, as well as treating amblyopia, blocked tear ducts, chalazions, eye inflammation, congenital ocular conditions, and patients with systemic conditions requiring monitoring eye exams. She is also available to treat adults with eye movement abnormalities like strabismus and special needs adults.

Graduating from University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in biology, Dr. Sebring received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After completing her internal medicine preliminary residency and her ophthalmology residency at her alma mater, Dr. Sebring completed her fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at the University of California San Diego. She later completed an additional fellowship in pediatric glaucoma and anterior segment at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Outside of the office, Dr. Sebring enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking gardening, being outdoors on the water and spending time with her husband and two young boys. She strives to provide leading edge knowledge and best practice to all those she cares for.

Dr. Sebring practices in our Mooresville (144 Fountain Place, Mooresville, NC) and Statesville (646 Hartness Road, Statesville, NC) offices. To schedule an appointment with her, call 704-295-3000.
