Biography

Rachel Sabo, MD is a comprehensive ophthalmologist  and cataract surgeon who specializes in general ophthalmology in the Statesville and Mooresville areas. Her interests are cataracts and refractive surgery. In addition, she provides treatment options for pink eye, common eye issues, and astigmatism

Dr. Sabo received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University. She did her internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center, her residency in ophthalmology at Geisinger Medical Center, and her fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at the Shiley Eye Center at the University of California.

In her downtime, Dr. Sabo enjoys exploring North Carolina and spending time with her family.
