Biography
Dr. N. Ron Melton is an
optometrist who specializes in comprehensive eye exams and contact lenses in Charlotte, NC.
His special interests include ocular
disease/glaucoma as well as anterior segment conditions. He received his undergraduate degree from
Greensboro College and his Doctor of Optometry
degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He also served as a captain in the US Army as a
clinical optometrist at Hawley Army Hospital. He is an adjunct faculty member of the Indiana University
School of Optometry and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry,
the American Optometric Association, the North Carolina Optometric Association,
the Optometric Glaucoma Society, and the
Piedmont Optometric Society.
