Biography

William Edwards, MD, is a cataract surgeon who provides services in Charlotte and Matthews, NC. His areas of expertise include cataract surgery, diabetic eye care, routine eye exams, and glaucoma management through micro invasive glaucoma surgery.

Graduating summa cum laude from the University of Alabama with a degree in biology, Dr. Edwards received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed his residency and glaucoma research fellowship at UTHS Hamilton Eye Institute.

Dr. Edwards will be seeing patients at our SouthPark (6035 Fairview Road, Charlotte, NC) and Matthews (724 Aubrey Bell Drive, Matthews, NC) offices.
