Biography

Dr. William Caldwell, Jr. is an otolaryngologist who specializes in comprehensive adult & pediatric ENT care, balloon sinuplasty, allergy care, and sleep medicine in the Charlotte, NC area. Dr. Caldwell began his career in 2003 with Mecklenbug Ear, Nose, and Throat, where he worked until 2011, when the practice was sold to CEENTA. Dr. Caldwell has also been a Clinical Assistant Professor with Bowman Gray School of Medicine since 2016. He has also served as Professor and Executive Director with ESMI Community Health System of Les Cayes, Haiti, since 2013.

Dr. Caldwell serves as the Medical Director and as a Board Member of the non-profit Give Hope Global, as Medical Director and Chair of Novant Health Clinically Intergrated Network, and as Senior Vice President of Clinical Integration at Novant Health, Inc.

Dr. Caldwell is a graduate of Davidson College and received his medical degree from East Carolina University. His internship and residency were at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Sleep Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
