Biography

William F. McGuirt Jr., MD, is an fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist who specializes in pediatric ENT care in the Piedmont Triad. His areas of expertise include acid reflux treatment, chronic sinusitis and rhinitis treatment, pediatric airway disorders, and tonsil and adenoid care.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from Davidson College, Dr. McGuirt completed his medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He finished his residency the University of Pittsburgh and his fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Boston Children's Hospital.

Outside of the office, Dr. McGuirt enjoys fly fishing, salt water aquariums, coaching soccer, and cheering on the Tar Heels and Carolina Hurricanes.
