Biography

Ruhi Micunek is a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in Voice and Swallowing disorders and Dysphagia for both the pediatric and adult populations. Mrs. Micunek’s expertise in voice disorders include vocal hygiene counseling, resonant voice therapy, and semi-occluded vocal tract exercises. She is also MDTP (McNeil Dysphagia Therapy Program) and FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) certified with ample experience in Modified Barium Swallowing Studies. Mrs. Micunek earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Albion College and earned her Masters in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University. She completed her graduate clinical work with Butterworth Hospital (Level I Trauma Center) in Grand Rapids, MI and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She joins CEENTA after completing her Clinical Fellowship with Kindred Rehabilitation.
