A woman prepares for BOTOX
It’s time. You want smoother skin and have decided to get BOTOX.

BOTOX injections are available at CEENTA, but what is the process like? Here are the 5 steps in getting BOTOX treatment.

Make a consultation appointment

Before you get injections, your doctor will need to know which areas to treat. During your consultation you and your doctor will discuss the treatment you would like. Your doctor will determine how many units of BOTOX will be injected. Risks and benefits of treatment will be discussed with you.

Numb the skin

If you’re anxious, a topical numbing cream can be applied prior to the injections. This cream takes about 15 minutes to set in.

Get guides

If this is your first appointment or you are getting treatment in a new area, your doctor may draw a few small marks on the injection sites. If you’re a frequent patient, your doctor may skip this step.

It’s time for the BOTOX

Your doctor will inject BOTOX into your treatment areas. The BOTOX only takes a few minutes to be injected. You may experience some mild redness, bruising, or soreness at the injection sites. The amount of BOTOX used will vary. Typically, 25-75 units are used in the face.

Review your results

The BOTOX will begin to wear in at about one week after your treatment. BOTOX typically lasts 3-4 months. Your doctor may wish to see you back in the office prior to your next treatment to discuss any areas that may require additional injections in the future.

So far, when people do not get much benefit following only one treatment they started moving forward to other treatments like botox. You have mentioned it all step by step which is really great. I especially like this video and it explains a lot! Thanks.

Good afternoon. We have five different physicians who provice cosmetic injections, and prices can vary based on a number of factors. We recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our doctors to discuss it with them. More details about our cosmetic injections and links to those doctors' pages can be found at this link: https://www.ceenta.com/conditions-and-treatments/cosmetic-injections Thank you.
