CEENTA CEO Dr. Jag Gill Named to Business NC's Power List

CEENTA is proud to announce that CEO Jag Gill, ScD, FACHE, FACMPE has been named to Business North Carolina's Power List for 2023.

This distinction highlights private-sector business leaders who have influenced their respective industries and the communities they serve. Dr. Gill is featured as a member of the 2023 Power List for Healthcare among leaders in Charlotte and surrounding metropolitan areas. This follows Dr. Gill's previous distinction from the Charlotte Business Journal as one of the Most Admired CEO's of 2022.

Graduating from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Dr. Gill received his master’s in health-systems management from the University of Missouri and his doctorate in health-systems management from Tulane University. He is celebrating his ten-year anniversary as Chief Executive Officer of CEENTA.

What is your favorite family tradition?
Watching football together.

What is your favorite place to visit in North Carolina?
Asheville.

What do you listen to on your commute?
NPR.

Who was a major inspiration in your life?
There are too many to name. I have been blessed with numerous mentors.

What are your career highlight?
I helped build the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, which is the first rural children’s hospital in Danville, Pennsylvania, since the 1920s.

What are your favorite after-work hobbies?
Unwinding with friends and family and attending college football games.

What is your best advice to industry newcomers?
Be a sponge and ask a lot of questions.

What key industry change do you see happening in the next five years?
Reimbursement changes.
