CEENTA Welcomes Sydney Thomas Cannon, MD

CEENTA is pleased to announce the addition of otolaryngologist Sydney Thomas Cannon, MD, effective August 25, 2026.

Dr. Cannon specializes in comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care, including treatments such as thyroid surgery, parathyroid surgery, and parotid gland surgery. In addition, she offers services including functional rhinoplasty, reconstructive surgery for skin cancer, blepharoplasty, BOTOX, and cosmetic fillers.

After graduating from Clemson University with a degree in biological sciences, Dr. Cannon earned her medical degree at Wake Forest School of Medicine. She continued her training in the Piedmont region and completed her residency in otolaryngology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

“I grew up in Winston-Salem, and I’m excited about serving the community that raised me,” said Dr. Cannon. “I chose CEENTA because I felt immediately welcomed by the other doctors and knew I would be well supported in the beginning of my career here.”

Dr. Cannon’s arrival follows the joining of Piedmont Ear, Nose and Throat Associates to CEENTA in July, expanding ENT and facial plastic services to Forsyth and Surry counties in North Carolina.
