CEENTA Acquires Piedmont Ear, Nose & Throat Associates

Piedmont Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates (PENTA) has joined CEENTA, expanding coordinated ENT care across North Carolina and marking our first physician group affiliation outside the immediate Charlotte metropolitan area.

For patients, this transition is designed to be seamless. PENTA physicians and care teams will continue to provide care at the same familiar and convenient locations in Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Clemmons, Elkin, and Mount Airy, with no interruption to provider relationships or treatment plans.

As part of CEENTA, PENTA will transition to the Epic EHR platform, which is also used by major regional health systems including Atrium and Novant. This transition will make it easier for patients and providers to securely access and manage medical records, improve coordination with other specialty and hospital partners, and support convenient online appointment scheduling and communication.

This integrated approach supports smoother referrals, improved care coordination, and access to a broader range of services when needed—while preserving local, community-based care.
