LeShara Fulton is a physician assistant who provides comprehensive pediatric and adult ENT care. She received her bachelor’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill. Her interest in research led to obtaining a PhD in microbiology and immunology at UNC over the next four years. Her doctoral dissertation focused on potential ways of minimizing the side effects of chemotherapy in the treatment of leukemia and lymphoma. Motivated by a thirst for direct patient contact, Ms. Fulton then received her Master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Wake Forest University School of Medicine on a Whitehead scholarship. As a North Carolina native and devoted Tar Heels fan, she enjoys cheering on the home team in all sports.
