With review and feedback from CEENTA Audiologist Jeremy Schwartz, AuD (SouthPark, Uptown)

If it’s time for hearing aids, you want a set that will help you hear as clearly as possible. At CEENTA, our audiologists use Aurical, a system that ensures you get the best set possible for your unique needs.

What is Aurical?

Aurical is a modular hearing aid fitting system with the latest tools and software that helps ensure hearing aids best serve a patient’s needs.

This system enables the audiologist to ensure the hearing aids are doing exactly what they are supposed to do, output-wise, CEENTA Audiologist Jeremy Schwartz, AuD, said. Many places that offer hearing aids do not utilize verification systems during their fittings.

With Aurical, a probe is inserted in the ear with the hearing aid on top. It measures the output of the device at all frequencies – or pitches – so that it can be adjusted by the audiologist to the patient's specific hearing configuration. Therefore, it serves as an additional check to verify the hearing aids are working exactly how they should in order to serve the patient’s needs.
