Dr. Greywoode and Dr. Kirchner

CEENTA is pleased to announce Jewel Greywoode, MD, and Ian Kirchner, MD, joined us on August 13, 2019.

Dr. Greywoode is an ENT physician who specializes in cosmetic and functional facial plastic surgery. He will initially see patients in CEENTA’s Belmont office before moving to the Uptown office when it opens in November, where he will offer ENT, facial plastic surgery, and allergy services.

Dr. Greywoode earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed his fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with Peter Hilger, MD, at the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining CEENTA, Dr. Greywoode was an assistant professor of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

“I am thrilled about being a part of the CEENTA team and look forward to providing excellent care for our patients,” Dr. Greywoode said. “As a specialist I love what I do and it’s a privilege to serve this community not only as a clinician but as a patient advocate and educator.”

Dr. Kirchner is an ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma treatment. He will see patients in CEENTA’s Statesville and University offices.

Dr. Kirchner earned his bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College and his doctorate from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago. His ophthalmology residency was at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore/Krieger Eye Institute, and he was chief resident during his final year. His glaucoma fellowship was at the Yale University Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, where he was also an instructor.

“I am delighted to come home to North Carolina to join the exceptional group of providers and staff at CEENTA,” Dr. Kirchner said. “This is an especially exciting period of advancement in the field of glaucoma and cataract management, and I am excited to offer my patients the newest medical and surgical options.”
