CEENTA routinely offers paid ophthalmic apprenticeships for people interested in becoming Ophthalmic Imaging Technicians and Ophthalmic Assistants.

During this paid 14-week course, apprentices spend time in both classroom and clinical environments, completing rotations in the following eye care subspecialties:
As an apprentice, you will also receive access to our full range of benefits, including medical and dental insurance, 401(k) plans, paid time off, and employee discounts on CEENTA services.
The apprenticeship prepares technicians and assistants for the Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Exam.
After your 14-week apprentice training is complete, you'll be offered a position as an Ophthalmic Assistant with a two-year commitment to CEENTA.

I had a cochlear implant activated last year in my left ear. Dr. Stowell did the implant and my audiologist was Dr. Horning. That nerve had been dormant for about 40 years. I didn’t think they could fix my left ear because the nerve is dead, but they’ve been very good. I give them an A+.
