For at least twenty years, I noticed the bags under my eyes. I started to look like my grandmother! I didn’t want it to get worse, so I began researching ways to help.
During my appointment with Dr. Neela Rao for ear and throat congestion, I mentioned how my eyes looked. I had no idea that she was also a facial plastic surgeon, and she explained how I could “change my looks” with blepharoplasty.
Dr. Rao was so accommodating, and the fact that she also graduated from Michigan State was the cherry on top that convinced me to get the procedure.
My postop care was very uneventful. I used ice packs and eye drops to help with recovery, and everything healed perfectly.
Blepharoplasty was a safe, effective surgery. It was a great experience, and Dr. Rao really put me at ease. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
