CEENTA is pleased to announce the addition of two new ophthalmologists to our practice on September 26, 2023: Anya T. Sebring, MD, and Jeff Stetler, MD.
Dr. Sebring is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist with particular focus on eye movement and eye alignment disorders, assessing glasses needs, amblyopia, blocked tear ducts, chalazions, eye inflammation, congenital ocular conditions, and adult and pediatric strabismus patients. Graduating from the University of Nebraska at Kerney with a degree in biology, Dr. Sebring earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She then completed her residencies at her alma mater and her fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and pediatric glaucoma and anterior segment at the University of California San Diego and Wills Eye Hospital respectively.
As a cornea specialist, Dr. Stetler specializes in corneal diseases, corneal transplants, eye infections, cataract surgery, and refractive eye surgery. Graduating from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Dr. Stetler earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School. After completing his internship at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas becoming chief resident at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, he finished his fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of Missouri.
“Drs. Sebring and Stetler are welcome additions to our eye care teams in Iredell County and Charlotte, and their unique specialties will be beneficial for patients of all ages,” CEENTA CEO Jag Gill, ScD, said.
