My daughter Elise had a blocked tear duct pretty much right away as a newborn. It's hard to keep a baby's eyes from bothering them, especially if they're goopy from this condition. By the time she was fourteen months old, she would wake up with a lot of discharge. Our pediatrician recommended Dr. Hayley Klein to us, as did many others who we reached out to about what to do. As a mom, I appreciate Dr. Klein not pushing the procedure on us right away and recommending we wait because of our hesitation with anesthesia.

When Elise was sixteen months old with no change, Dr. Klein recommended the surgery to fix her blocked tear duct. Dr. Klein was very approachable, giving a lot of explanation and being open to questions. 

Now Elise is twenty-one months old, and she is doing a lot better. My husband even said it was the best money we ever spent!
