Dr. Rao is a glaucoma specialist who comes to CEENTA after serving on the faculty at Harvard Medical School, working primarily at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her master’s degree from Oxford University in the United Kingdom, and her Medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. Her ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship were at the Duke Eye Center at the Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Rao will see patients in CEENTA’s Matthews and Monroe offices.
Dr. Vaziri is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who has treated patients locally in Charlotte since 2008. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and his Medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. His internship and ophthalmology residency were at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Vaziri will see patients in CEENTA’s SouthPark office.
Dr. Rose is an optometrist who comes to CEENTA after completing her residency at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center. She earned her bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and her optometry doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Dr. Rose will see patients in CEENTA’s SouthPark office.
“I am very excited to be in Charlotte and am looking forward to the opportunity to serve patients in need of glaucoma and comprehensive eye care,” Dr. Rao said. “My husband and I are both originally from North Carolina so, on a personal level, it feels great to be back home.”
