Biography

Dr. Justin Brown is an ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical disease of the retina and vitreous, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments. He received his undergraduate degree from UNC Chapel Hill and his medical degree from the UNC School of Medicine. His internship was at Johns Hopkins/Sinai Hospital, and his residency and fellowship were at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. He was also chief resident/assistant chief of service and director of ocular trauma at the Wilmer Eye Institute. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Medical Association.
