All of our ENT physicians have pediatric training and see children for ear, nose, and throat disorders such as: longstanding ear infections, recurrent tonsil infections, tonsil enlargment, and adenoid problems. However, three of our physicians have received additional training and specialize in complicated pediatric otolaryngology. Our pediatric otolaryngologists have received special training in the care of complicated children’s problems such as those related to premature birth, congenital malformations, and developmental concerns. Children with special needs such as Down Syndrome, apnea (breathing problems), tracheotomy and cleft palate are often under the care of pediatric otolaryngologists. |

Pediatric ophthalmology is a sub-specialty within ophthalmology dedicated to treating children and their vision. It’s grown out of the knowledge that children have their own special vision problems that can affect them for life. Our department recognizes that a child-friendly environment promotes an enjoyable eye examination for the patient and a thorough and informative exam by the physician. |
