His residency training included oncologic research and training at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. In addition, his residency included subspecialty training in pediatric otolaryngology at the Texas Children’s Hospital; general otolaryngology, pediatric oncologic and otologic surgery at the Methodist Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital, Ben Taub General Hospital, and Houston Veterans Hospital.

CERTIFICATIONS/AFFILIATIONS:
Board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, and the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He has authored articles and given numerous presentations on therapies for head and neck cancer, sinus surgery and otologic surgery.
