Anti-Reflective Coatings

This clear coating is designed to help eliminate glare and reflection from objects. For example, this coating is suggested for patients working with computers, cameras and bright lights, as well as patients who drive at night. In addition, this coating eliminates the glare others see in eyeglass lenses, making the lenses practically invisible.

Progressive Lenses

These lenses are classified under the heading of “No-Line” bifocals and are ideal for patients that desire a neat and inconspicuous appearance to their lenses. It also offers the added benefit of seeing at a mid point range for their daily activities.

High Index and Polycarbonate Materials

High Index lenses are designed to reduce the weight and thickness appearance due to the prescription. Polycarbonate lenses are also safer. They are the most impact resistant lenses in today’s marketplace.

Polarized Lenses

This sunglass lens offers many advantages. It provides 100% ultra violet protection and eliminates glare and reflection from the sun. They are available in multiple lens colors and in many lens prescriptions.

Photochromatic Lenses

These lenses are designed for the patient who desires only one pair of eyeglasses. This lens incorporates a capacity to darken from a light tint indoors to several shades of dark tint outdoors. It is also available in most prescriptions and lens materials.

Pediatric Eyeglasses

Our practice has a wide range of frame styles for children. This enables the child and the parent to pick the most aesthetically pleasing and safe eyewear possible. Remember children should always wear Polycarbonate lenses for protection, because children are much more active than adults. Dress eyeglasses should not be worn for sports activities.

Low Vision Aids

Our practice has a physician skilled in fitting Low Vision Aid devices. We stock many magnifiers to support reading ability for our patients with decreased vision.

Moisture Chamber Devices

These devices are used in application to eyeglasses to provide a chamber around the eye to help prevent loss of moisture in patients with severe dry eye issues.

Sports Eyewear

These sports frames are available for people of all ages. They provide a safe environment for the eyes.

Safety Eyewear

Many businesses provide safety eyeglasses for their employees for OSHA regulated work environments. Our Opticians can provide the measurements and complete the work order for patients to give their employer. We can also produce the eyeglasses for patients that do not have this feature as an employee benefit.

Swim Goggles

Many prescriptions can be fabricated in swim goggles. We have several swim goggle frames designed for this purpose.

Our Optical Departments have many supplies to enhance your eyeglasses, such as eyeglass cords, chains, clip-on sunglasses, lens cleaner and cleaning cloths. Stop in and see our selection.
