- Performed the first NO needle, NO stitch cataract surgery in Charlotte in 1989 and has performed over 21,000 cataract operations
- Performed the first ARRAY multifocal lens implant surgery in Charlotte in 1998. Currently offers the new ReSTOR and ReZOOM multifocal lens implants for near and distance vision and the IMPLANTABLE CONTACT LENS surgery
- CO-MEDICAL DIRECTOR at the TLC Charlotte Laser Eye Center since its opening in 1997 where he has performed more than 7000 Laser Vision Correction procedures
