Do you sleep beside a snorer every night? You might not want to hear your significant other’s incessant snoring, but the folks at 107.9 The Link’s Matt and Ramona Show sure do.
The show is running a “Little House of Snores” contest through May 2, and they want you to film a short video of the “most obnoxious snorer in your life.” The impetus for the contest came when Amy Harris filmed her husband Matt (from the Matt and Ramona Show) snoring. There are ten entries so far, all of which can be seen here.
With two nationally-accredited sleep centers, we at Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates realize there is nothing fun about a restless night, whether you’re the snorer or the person sleeping beside them. Snoring can be symptomatic of sleep apnea, a sleep disorder in which a person’s airway is so obstructed that they may stop breathing during their sleep. That’s why we’ve partnered with 107.9 The Link to raise more awareness about snoring and other sleep disorders. You will be able to vote for the best video from May 3-6, and a committee will choose a winner from the three videos with the most votes. The grand prize winner of this contest will win a new queen mattress set from Merino’s Home Furnishings and a night’s stay at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge.
